Stephanie – Friends | Lyric Video (With English Translation)

Stephanie (katakana:ステファニー; full name: Stephanie Topalian) is a Japanese/Armenian-American singer-songwriter. Today we feature her song “Friends” off her self-titled 2007 album. I can’t quite remember when or where I heard this song, but I do know it is one of my favourites from her. Sing along to our lyric video (with English subtitles) and/ or read the romaji lyrics below. Enjoy! 🙂

Little Glee Monster – Seishun Photograph | Lyric Video (With English Translation)

It’s no secret that I’m more than a little obsessed with Little Glee Monster. Little Glee Monster is a Japanese girl band consisting of six amazingly talented girls with great voices singing (mostly) carefree, feel-good songs. Ever since I discovered them about a month ago, I’ve been hooked! Naturally, my first order of business was to make a lyric video of one of my favourite songs of theirs, so I could sing along to it. 🙂

AI – Utsukushiki Mono | Lyric Video (With English Translation)

It’s no secret that we love Japanese-American singer-songwriter AI here at The Wondercores! Her songs are powerful and so is her voice. 🙂 AI was born in Los Angeles and spent her childhood in Japan and her teens in the US. Fun fact: she started off as a dancer, and even appeared in Janet Jackson’s Go Deep music video in 1998! She debuted as a musician in Japan in 2000. (Also, she just had a baby girl! Congratulations AI!!)
